this is query really...
I really want a first, I have the ability, but I am so damn lazy its unbelievable. Ive done 6 modules in my 2nd year and Ill have to do another 6 in my final yr next yr. I reckon ( havent had exam results back yet) that Ive got 2 A's and 3C's and 1B - would it still be possible to get a first next yr if i work really hard?

Hi,

I dont really understand the grading structure you are using, mine was always % based, and, 3rd year modules carried more weight than earlier modules.

There were different marking criteria in use too, which meant if you did well in later modules, but not earlier ones you could still do well....

You really need to wait for your marks, look at your own marking system at Uni and get your calculator out!

The only other thing I would add is that lazy people dont get first class degree's, that is what makes them valuable.... you will have to work like a lunatic in your final year!

Good luck!
